Responsible Use
Page Quarry is designed to help designers and developers retrieve legitimate public website design assets. It is not intended as a general-purpose downloader for personal media, creative portfolios, stock libraries, or protected entertainment content.
What Page Quarry is for
Appropriate workflows include finding a partner or client logo for an authorized presentation, retrieving public favicons or PWA icons for development work, inspecting SVG and interface assets during design research, or collecting assets you own or have permission to use.
What Page Quarry is not for
Do not use Page Quarry to collect personal photographs, copy another creator’s portfolio work, download stock imagery without a license, reproduce copyrighted artwork, obtain protected media, or bypass login requirements, paywalls, DRM, access controls, or technical restrictions.
Built-in safeguards
Page Quarry restricts scanning on selected social-media, portfolio-gallery, stock-image and streaming platforms. On ordinary websites, clearly identified SVGs, logos, icons, favicons and similar site assets can remain quick to retrieve, while photos, artwork, backgrounds, video posters and ambiguous raster assets require a permission confirmation before download.
Public does not mean free to reuse
An asset being visible on a public webpage does not by itself mean that the asset is in the public domain or free of copyright, trademark, privacy, contractual or other restrictions. Page Quarry does not verify ownership and does not grant any license or permission.
Your responsibility
Before downloading or reusing an asset, make sure you own it, have authorization from the relevant rights holder, have an applicable license, or your intended use is otherwise legally permitted. If you are uncertain, obtain permission or use an official brand/media kit instead.
Platform restrictions are intentionally conservative
The restricted-site list is designed to reduce obvious misuse. It is not a legal determination that every item on a blocked platform is protected, nor does the absence of a restriction mean that every asset on another website is free to use.
